Etiquettes Théophile invests in Grafotronic HI Combi

Etiquettes Théophile, the manufacturer of adhesive labels from Creutzwald in Moselle, has modernised its production with a  Grafotronic HI Combi, high-end inspection and converting machine.

Etiquettes Théophile was founded in 1973, employs 19 people and is close to 3 million euros in sales. Its production is heavily focused on the food and technology industries. The company searched for a supplier with extensive service capabilities and short reaction times. Grafotronic, with its Connected Service™ and online support that encompasses fault diagnosis, machine set-ups and operator training.

We have reorganized our workshop in recent months by separating the printing and converting operations. We needed a machine with high-end solutions, prepared for high-speed production and with operator friendly features, says Régis Théophile, representing the third generation of the managing family.

The HI Combi can run 200 m/min in die cutting or inspection mode, and up to 140 m/min with inspection and die-cutting at the same time. Huge advantages of the machine are the innovative automatic non-stop production features like AUTOCUT system – automatic cut at end of roll and start of new cycle.

We are sure that thanks to this investment we will increase our production efficiency, which will generate more benefits in the future, concludes Régis Théophile.

Etiquettes Théophile also purchased an additional digital cross perforation unit, a compact solution for perforation with use of flexible dies.
