Two new machines for Unipress Etiketten & Schilder

Unipress Etiketten & Schilder, based in Salzgitter, Germany, recently installed Grafotronic SR3 Slitter/Rewinder and boon-REBEL digital finishing machine.

Founded in 1980 Unipress has since the beginning been investing in modern machinery and innovative solutions. After 40 years the company is a well-known in Germany and abroad, with wide range of printing solutions including UV letterpress printing, screen printing, hot stamping, thermal transfer and several types of digital printing. Its production is focused on automotive, electronic, medical, pharmaceutical and many other industrial sectors.

Due to the enormous increase in incoming orders, Unipress has expanded, modernized and upgraded its production. We know from the past and the long-standing partnership that machines from Graficon or its trading partners are reliable, always represent the latest technical level and provide the necessary production security with excellent service. These are precisely the reasons for choosing Grafotronic and boon-tech machines from Graficon, said Mr. Olaf Kierchner, managing director and owner of Unipress

The Grafotronic SR³ 450 was chosen primarily for rewinding, slitting and inspection of self-adhesive and mono-film materials.

The boon-REBEL was purchased as a finishing machine for digitally pre-printed labels. It is a “mega-compact” digital finisher, with machine length of just 120 cm. A big advantage of the boon-REBEL is its semi-rotary die cutting unit, with innovative easy-to-change die loading system from the side, which offers maximum user-friendliness.

Graficon Maschinenbau AG is representing Grafotronic and bon-tech in Germany, Austria and Switzerland and is responsible for installations, repairs and maintenance.
